Compassionate & Effective Therapy

A Personalized, Evidence-Based, and Holistic Approach to Therapy
Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all process—it’s both an art and a science that nurtures the whole person. I tailor my approach to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals, drawing from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
I also have a deep appreciation for the mind-body-spirit connection, an area increasingly supported by psychology and neuroscience, and incorporate practices like mindfulness, self-compassion, and Buddhist psychology. My goal is to help you build self-awareness, emotional balance, and resilience as we work together toward your healing and growth.

Starting Therapy
In our initial sessions, I’ll take time to understand your background, experiences, and how your challenges may be affecting your life. We’ll explore the areas where you feel stuck and uncover any patterns that may be holding you back. From there, I’ll work with you to develop a holistic treatment plan that reflects your specific concerns, goals and desires. We’ll revisit this plan regularly to make sure we’re on track.

A Focus on the Present, Not Just the Past
While past experiences can offer valuable insights, real change happens in the present. I focus on helping you develop the awareness and skills you can use today and in the future to create the life you want.

Clarifying Your Values and Setting Goals
A key part of our work will be identifying what matters most to you—your core values. With that clarity, we’ll set meaningful, achievable goals that reflect those values and help you take steps toward achieving them.

Building Self-Compassion
Self-compassion is a powerful tool for healing and change. Research shows that treating yourself with kindness can radically change your outlook and mood. Throughout our work together, we’ll focus on cultivating self-compassion as a foundation for wellbeing.

Guiding You Toward Lasting Change
With a balance of support, insight, and practical strategies, I’ll help you create lasting, meaningful change. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you, build the skills and confidence to move forward, and take steady steps to bring your goals to life.
